April progress

just took my april measurements. i lost 10.5 inches off my body this month for a total of 25.5 inches since March. I wish i had started taking measurements at my heaviest, but i didn’t. boo. the majority of the inches lost this month was in my midsection which is also my problem area. I’m happy with my progress so far but PROJECT FIT IN DEM JEANS starts today and runs till August 8th. I WILL FIT IN DEM JEANS!!! =D

You know what’s crazy? I felt like I gained weight. I was totally dreading getting on that scale and taking my measurements and when I finally did, it was a great feeling knowing that I lost that many inches. I don’t know why my mind is always so negative. We are our own worst critics that’s for damn sure.

I’m not gonna lie to you guys, I didn’t workout nearly as much as I did last month. I guess that’s why I felt like I gained. I’m actually surprised I didn’t have a gain in inches and weight. But lesson learned and it’s a new day. I just gotta move forward from here.

I also wanted to share this channel I found on youtube it’s called fitnessblender. they have some great workouts you can do at home. I HATE walking the track. like HATE it. it’s so boring to me just walking in a circle round and round. omg. so boring. I don’t mind doing videos at home and I haven’t got the confidence to hit the gym yet so i use youtube a lot for workouts. just thought I’d share…

which dress?

I need a dress for some events taking place this summer so I’m trying to pick a dress out. HALP!! which one do you like best???

FYI: I’ll be wearing a cropped denim jacket with whichever one I pick!

paying rent…

The other day we were talking to the kids about paying bills and being responsible and how if you don’t pay your bills your stuff gets taken away. Sophia said she wants a BMW when she grows up. so we tell her how important it is to do good in school, go to college and get a good job in order to have what she wants because if you don’t pay for your stuff it gets taken away, ya know? She just couldn’t believe if you don’t pay, you’ll lose it. so she says, “so… if i get an apartment and I don’t pay my rent, it gets taken away?” and we both say YES. so she says, “oh that’s ok. I don’t need to worry about paying rent because I’m just gonna live with ya’ll till i’m 32.”

SAY WHAT NOW????

I don’t think she was kidding either.

Jesus take the wheel. 22 more years of her attitude just might kill me.

I’m just gonna have to talk her into getting a Toyota Corolla instead so she’ll be able to afford her rent.

what’s in my handbag?

I promised more updates and of course you got none. I suck. i haven’t really been doing much either, but with the kids at home it makes it hard to sit and type a blog post. I have one kid asking me questions right now and all I’m doing is nodding my head and trying to pay attention to him and at the same time write this blog post. I just said yes to something and I have no idea what. Hopefully it wasn’t anything too bad. LOL that’s how life is with 2 kids and 2 dogs. it’s crazy. so anyhow. I’m cleaning out my bag and thought I’d do a what’s in my bag post for ya!

1. My Michael Kors bag! I love it so much!

2. coach wristlet- holds the camera i’m using and credit cards, id’s and some change

3. gum & tic tacs. duh. lol

4. clinique perfume happy in bloom.

5. my beloved iphone.

6. lotions and hand sanitizer

7. lip balms.

8. sunglass case

9. a little notebook, some birthday cards and a bill.

10. makeup case. well mostly lipgloss/lipsticks and toothbrush and toothpaste

11. earring case. I always keep earrings in my bag in case i forget to put some on at home. i feel naked without earrings on.

12. my keys and hairbrush

13. random gold beads. *shrugs*

14. perfume sample and target coupons!
